ABOUT OUR TRACK & FIELD CLASSES
Our track & field programs for players ages 3-12 of all ability levels looking to learn and develop track & field skills and technique. With programs ranging from beginner to advanced abilities, we are sure to have a class to suit every child. US Sports Institute's track & field players will improve their skills and learn the importance of a healthy lifestyle in this fast-paced, exciting sport.
Track & Field programs are offered as weekly sessions (you attend for 1hr, once per week for a period of 7-8 weeks).
We offer the following track & field classes:
Squirts Track & Field - ages 3 to 5
Track & Field Squirts is the perfect class for introducing a child to the world of sports and athletics. Our professional coaches ensure that children are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment. Classes focus on the key skills of jumping, running, and throwing, where players are encouraged to develop basic motor skills, including balance, muscle control, and kinetic development. Players will be taught through a series of fun challenges, structured activities and scrimmages adapted to ensure everyone achieves success.
Senior Squirts Track & Field - ages 5 to 8
Track & Field Senior Squirts classes introduce beginners and those with some experience to the fundamentals of track & field. Our professional sports coaches will ensure that children are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment. Players will learn fundamental skills in running, jumping and throwing, and will be encouraged to develop their key motor skills, including balance, muscle control, and kinetic development. This all takes place through a series of track & field challenges and events, including sprinting, distance running, relays, long jump, javelin, and more!
Foundation Track & Field - ages 5 to 12
This Track & Field class introduces beginners and those with some experience to the fundamentals of track & field. Our professional sports coaches will ensure that children are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment. Players will learn track & field fundamental techniques in running, jumping, and throwing, as well as develop key motor skills, including balance, muscle control, and kinetic development. This all takes place through a series of track & field challenges, competitions, and events, including sprinting, distance running, relays, long jump, javelin, and more!
All equipment needed for this class will be provided by USA Sport Group and every child will receive a free dry-fit T-Shirt & completion certificate.
